Having this disease can make it very uncomfortable as this is commonly experienced with inflammations as well as degeneration of the navicular bone which is found on the front of the both the feet. Once you have found out that your animal has this disease you will want to have it treated straight away. Depending on how far alone the syndromes are you might only be able to treat the horse for pain.

Finding the right animal can take a long time and once you have found him or her you will want to make nothing happens to them. It is a good idea to read up on any and all diseases that can affect your pet. This will help you to know what to do when a problem arises, so that you can either treat the problem yourself or call for help.

You can assist the horse by putting the foot that is affected into a proper neurological and biochemical balance which is very important for the animal. These animals that are treated with this disease often have long toes and an under run heal. It is vital to expose the horse to proper stimulus to help improve the structure as well as the hoof.

Things that can contribute to this disease are conformational defects on the horse. These include upright, narrow, small feet, downhill build, long toes and low heels as well as upright feet pasterns. Having these defects will put pressure on the navicular bone, cause the tendons and ligaments to pull and therefore causing strain and degeneration even when the animal is just standing.

If your beast has this certain type of syndrome then it is best to treat it with the right amount of exercise so that it is not over or under using the muscles, ligaments or tendons. This needs to also be done at a slow pace things like taking long walks or swimming can help. Try avoiding any heavy, fast pace work as this can cause pain and suffering which you will want to avoid.

Having someone to enjoy your free time with is always nice, but when you have an animal that you need to love and that loves you is even better. In this way you need them and they need you, Thus, looking after them and making sure they have everything they need is so much more rewarding for you both.

Never give up if your horse is diagnosed with any disease there are a lot of helpful treatments that will allow them to have a good life. They might not be able to perform like they used to but will still be able to go for walks. Take one day at a time and take it easy as well.
