If you are looking to improve your home's indoor air quality, do not dump money into electronics! Try one of these affordable indoor plants.

Get a snake plant

With the Snake plant you can clean your air of any benzene, toluene, xylene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde. The plant costs between $15 and $70 depending on its size and can convert CO2 into oxygen at night. That makes it great for the bedroom. The plant has many smooth, snake-like tendrils on it.
